HSE and Safety Boss Expanded Emergency Response Capability Demonstrated

NEWS RELEASE – January 10 , 2005

HSE Integrated Ltd. ("HSE" or the "Company") and Safety Boss Inc. ("Safety Boss") demonstrated their vastly enhanced oilfield emergency response capabilities last week by responding to three simultaneous well control situations without disrupting services to regular clients during a period of very high oilfield activity.

HSE and Safety Boss entered into an agreement to jointly provide emergency response and well control services on June 22, 2004 when HSE purchased substantially all the oilfield safety assets of Safety Boss. This partnership combines Safety Boss's internationally recognized expertise in these areas supported by the increasing manpower and equipment capacities of HSE.

At the sour gas blowout at Acheson west Edmonton, Alberta that began December 12 (HSE News Release, December 15), safety supervisory and well control work has continued for the past four weeks. The safety management
aspects are extensive because of the well's proximity to populated areas, the hazards from the blowout, and the large number of personnel on location.

On Tuesday January 4 Safety Boss was called to respond to a drilling blowout near High Level, Alberta. An uncontrolled flow of natural gas caught fire and burned the drilling rig to the ground. Supporting Safety Boss, HSE responded with fire control equipment and safety support crews. The destroyed rig was safely removed from the wellbore proximity and the wellbore was sealed on January 6.

On January 4 Safety Boss and HSE were also called to respond to an uncontrolled natural gas flow from a damaged wellhead in east central Alberta. The flow was stopped using HSE's freezing equipment and new flow control equipment was installed. This well was capped on January 5. During this period, field activity began ramping up for what could be record field activity until spring break-up. Due to the vastly increased equipment and manpower capacity of HSE through seven strategic acquisitions in 2004, the Company has been able to satisfy all the requirements of its clients on regular operations safely and efficiently.

David Yager, Chairman and CEO of HSE, offered the following comments on the first week of 2005.

"The cooperation between Safety Boss and HSE provides our clients with a level of emergency response and well control capability, support equipment and skilled manpower capacity greater than anything previously available in the petroleum industry in Canada or around the world. No well control company like Safety Boss has ever had the back-up team that we can provide at HSE. We're particularly proud of skilled, loyal and brave personnel who responded so professionally to the three emergency responses at the same time as dozens of other jobs across the basin".

Directly and through wholly-owned subsidiaries, HSE Integrated Ltd. is a supplier of industrial Health, Safety and Environmental services to the oil and gas and other industries operating from field service locations in Brooks, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Fort Saskatchewan, Edson, Whitecourt, Grande Prairie, High Level, and Ft. St. John.

HSE is publicly-listed and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "HSL".
